Free And Easy (Down The Road I Go) - Dierks Bentley

Pair of boots and a sack of clothes
Free and easy down the road I go
Hangin' memories on the high line poles
Free and easy down the road I go
Free and easy down the road I go

Ragweed's rockin' on the radio
Free and easy down the road I go
So I keep rollin' like an old banjo
Free and easy down the road I go

Got the sun shinin' on me like a big spotlight
So I know everything is gonna be alright

Ain't no tellin' where the wind might blow
Free and easy down the road I go
Livin' life like a Sunday stroll
Free and easy down the road I go
Free and easy down the road I go

If you only get to go around one time
I'm gonna sit back and try to enjoy the ride

I could make a million or wind up broke
Free and easy down the road I go
Can't take it with you when you go so
Free and easy down the road I go
Someday I know it's gonna take me home so
Free and easy down the road I go
Free and easy down the road I go

Patience

Nada como planchar un pantalón de lana

para ejercitar la paciencia.

El tiempo abunda

There's always time for everything

Lots and lots of time

and when your time finally is over

nothing matters anymore

so

meh...

You, explained

In the Timaeus, Plato lists five terrible affections of the mortal soul:

Pleasure, the inciter of evil

Pain, which deters from good

Rashness and fear, foolish counsellors

Anger, hard to appease

and Hope, easily led astray.

The gods, Plato tells us, mingled these affections

with irrational sense

and all-daring love,

and thereby created man...

Copia brutal
Otra distracción

Un café triste... hace cuánto no brillamos?
Solía pasar, este frío no es normal
No nos dejarás ir, no nos dejarás ir
La entidad nos abrirá las puertas

Copia brutal
Otra distracción

La necesidad de advertir
las flores que brillan
Bocas sordas, oídos ciegos, tormenta de ojos rojos
Romperé los míos

Incertidumbre cero

A veces no sabes qué va a resultar

o qué va a pasar

No sabes exactamente a qué vas

A warm and fuzzy feeling you create inside

That's what "Everything is gonna be alright" means

verdad?

The Universe is mental

The only reality is mind and observations

but observations are not of things.

To see the Universe as it really is

we must abandon our tendency to conceptualize observations as things.

The Universe is immaterial-mental and spiritual.

Live and enjoy.

I’ve always had a fairly optimistic disposition, but something I’ve learned over the years is that while optimism is certainly important and praiseworthy, it is often superficial and lacking in real substance and sustainability. An optimist feels hopeful about the future, yes, but that feeling is fleeting. Often the most well intentioned optimist in the world can find their optimism irreparably overcome by external factors.

Happiness, on the other hand, is a sturdy anchor. Sincere happiness, aka happiness that is rooted in the right things, has the ability to sustain us no matter what circumstance may arrive.

Happiness is something we choose. And when we sincerely choose happiness as a governing principle of our lives, we quickly learn that circumstance has no inherent power.

Any power that our life circumstance holds, is power that we give it.

To borrow a line from one of my personal heroes, Viktor Frankl (Man’s Search for Meaning):

"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way"

Richie Norton.
